INTRODUCING THE QUINTERO’S!

So a little backstory, Marco is my brother. SO THIS IS SUCH A SPECIAL POST FOR ME.  I remember when he told us he wanted to propose to Jess and he wanted to do it somewhere in Tennessee. He originally wanted Cade’s Cove but the season we went it was closed due to road construction, so we just pulled off where this big rock was and he proposed there and ughhhh, it was so sweet. So sweet!!!!

Then they found out they were expecting (my sweet nephew is now a year!) and so they wanted to wait until after having Bowen to hold their wedding and they decided they wanted to ELOPE. & chose me to do the capturing (so thankful). So, the original plan was Colorado but they instead decided to go back to where Marco proposed and shoot at Cade’s Cove.

& that’s what we did. It was just them two, their sons, and our immediate families. About 20 guests total at their elopement. Brother Terry married them, they shared their personal vows in front of all of us (definitely cried) and we got to watch them become one! Cade’s Cove was so green and so much wildlife activity going on. We saw a few bears, a ton of deer, and of course the occasional chipmunk.

These two got ready at their Airbnb, had a first look at the Foothills Parkway, and then celebrated God’s union in the Smoky Mountains and then we all went out to eat a nice steak dinner in Gatlinburg. The rest of the time we explored more in Gatlinburg with the family and left back home while jess + Marco stayed back for a longer getaway.

Enjoy the sweet Tennessee mountains (I swear it almost looks like Hawaiian mountains) and the peacefulness these pictures bring to life.
