Moody and Adventurous Destination Elopement in Glacier National Park

CAN I JUST SAY REAL QUICK- DREAMS CAN AND DO COME TRUE.

Amalea reached out to Claudia Hemphill & I wanting to shoot her destination elopement. She was between Wyoming and Montana- and obvi picked Montana!! WHOO. It was me, Claudia (another photographer) and her husband who is a videographer who took on this adventure and helped plan and set up her dream elopement. She wanted to break tradition and go somewhere epic and that’s exactly what happened.

The only thing that was really bumming Amalea is when we got to Montana, going to the sun road was closed off and we couldn’t access the Trail of the Cedars hike by car. We would’ve had to hike for 10 miles and then add on another 3-4 miles just to get to Avalanche Lake.

THANKING GOD CHANDLER was there to rescue us. He found a bike rental (e-bikes. they’re the REAL DEAL.) and we all biked to the trailhead and hiked the rest of the way to Avalanche Lake. We were a little late for the ceremony (OOPS lol) but we made it, saw these two souls become one in Jesus and celebrated at dinner afterwards with their families! WHAT A JOURNEY. & now- I will let the pictures do the talking!
