Back story: I went to high school with Anna! She was one of my closest friends at the time and now I get to frickin capture her marrying the love of her life. They wanted something different and we ended up back in the same park that Anna proposed to Shelby at!
They have a van that they travel a lot in together + they wanted to incorporate it into their shoot! I remember Anna loved playing guitar in high school so I asked Shelby if she wanted that to also be apart for the session + they were alllllll for it.
I strive to make sure we incorporate things they love to do as a couple as much as possible because these are memories you want to look back on and also show the grands one day!!!!!
I arrived EARLY (like 6:45 am) to Roosevelt State Park and we started shooting. Anna and Shelby kept saying how awkward they were and I was like “it’s okay. embrace that awkwardness, I got you!!!!”
They were amazing guys. + these pictures represent them so so much.
They get married in November at the Raymond Venue & I am so stoked!!!! Here’s to Anna + Shelby! I CANNOT WAIT TO CELEBRATE YOU GALS ON THE BIG DAY!
